Our NFP SIG offers educational opportunities, focusing on accounting, auditing, and taxation in the not-for-profit sector. We provide insights into the latest accounting standards, including updates from FASB and other regulatory bodies, and explore effective audit techniques tailored for NFPs. Our sessions focus on compliance issues and taxation challenges specific to non-profits, including filing requirements and exemptions. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of financial management and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in NFP organizations.

In addition to educational content, our SIG fosters a strong community through our presentations to network with other accounting professionals supporting NFPs. These forums allow members to connect with peers and experts, sharing experiences and solutions to common challenges. Our aim is to equip professionals working in or with not-for-profit entities with the knowledge and skills necessary for navigating the complex landscape of NFP accounting and taxation, thereby enhancing the proficiency and effectiveness of our members and contributing to the strength and integrity of the not-for-profit sector.

We have presenters from the nationwide CPA firms, fortune 500 companies and local organizations. Most of our presentations are done virtually where you can earn CPE credits at the convenience of your home or office.
